Just because we are back, doesn’t mean we have forgotten last week. We will post just a few more pictures, just to share this beautiful city Paris. We really enjoyed it while we lived there as a young couple and again this time around. At this moment we feel slightly overdosed with croissants and pains [...] What a week, it was nice to see everybody after such a long time. We rediscovered the beauty of France and its food. We ate enough Foie gras for the next two years, drunk enough champagne for a few weeks and seen the old world history to refresh our memory bank, and fill up everything [...] What a pleasure to be back on our stepping ground. It is a true delight to spend few days, in the sunshine and relax with no responsibilities other than taking care of each other. The photos talk more than words to share our adventure, so please enjoy :

Today was again another great learning tool but on a different level, not so much boating techniques, but more about us! Not to worry there are no reports of big seas, nor fears due to bad weather and neither near death experience, nothing that will fulfill the need for drama! Sorry…. Even though we work [...] 1 A wake up call in paradise looks like this for us as of today! With *B* already out and about, playing with the fire pit! Getting him back onboard was as challenging as getting him out of the water when he swims…. A lovely healthy breakfast, muesli a cup of tea with banana [...] After a good night sleep we were ready for a good sail and simply couldn’t wait! And we got what we wanted, good winds 20knots true, didn’t even have time to reef… Unfortunately we had the wind on the nose for where we wanted to go! Classic? Or Murphy’s law? Evidently, it made for some [...] On a bit more positive note than yesterday, here is what we have been doing for the last days : Water tanks topped up, generator tested (we did remember to put oil first in it), fridge and provisioning done. We are ready to go this Sunday for a week! Can you tell there is excitement [...] The last few days saw us leave the land world for the one of moving water, at last, we had all been longing for that day to come. Our choice was a small island, located just a 3 hour away from the marina where we are docked. This will be our first real outing with [...] Finding time is hard, but reality let me loose for a few minutes, so I was able to edit the video and update our September budget. Yesterday was a beautiful day, and we all enjoyed being back sailing, even with just a 5 knot wind and a flat sea. This made for a relaxing [...] |
