Taking a short interlude from the water maker to go back the alternator saga! The phone rang early on Monday morning, more precisely it went to the voice-mail at 5.40am. And by 6.40am, I was on the road already returning my call! I then discovered later I was speaking with Rob the support gentleman for [...] I know we interrupt the water maker schedule, not to worry it will come back next post. But we have a big project on our hand, understand the electrical system and a few people are waiting for some evaluation, between the Hitachi on the right side of the ring and the Electromaax on the left [...] Two big arrivals today on Letitgo, one with no stress and one with just a little more spice but all have to do with power. We received our asymmetrical spinnaker from voyager sail, first of all I would like to thanks Dale. During the entire process, his communication was perfect answered all question in [...] This was a long project to complete, the learning curve was steep and in the back of my head the mantra of Mr Calder was always present. “Keep the system balanced, if you want success” Understanding the needs, balancing all the element of the system and finally finding the most practical and economical solution. [...] We were supposed to leave for the long week-end, but life decided otherwise. And in order to compensate, I did a run to Letitgo, while *V* finished a sewing project. Today was elected to be replacement of the VHF antenna day. Not so fast was the response from Mother Nature, the sun is not out and it is getting rather chilly out there… Which evidently puts [...] One more note from the editor : Before you get to enjoy the exotic places, the palm trees and your bikinis with dolphins swimming around you…. Yes it is still a dream, nonetheless, we still have all the ground work to do! And along with that comes the technical again with our VHF radio.
