Boat

You have to make a decision at some point on type brand and model or you could be looking for a very long time for the “ideal” boat. We did it around mid 2010, it was a two years process of evaluation discovery and compromise.

We went from mono-hull to multi to mono, but Multi came ahead at the end. Comfort space and sailing ability made us choose the Lagoon 380 Owner version. Ours is a 380 S2 2007, we are the second owner. It came from France on a freighter to San Francisco made its home in Newport Beach. It was sailed lightly from their and Catalina Island.

We took possession of an immaculate coastal cruiser. It came with an AB Aluminum bottom RIB, mercury F3.5 Engine, E120 Chart plotter, water cooled refrigeration, optional water tank, Yanmar 3YM30, comfort package, Hydrobulb Anchor with 100 ft chain, Xantrex MS2000 inverter charger, house battery bank 440 AH and enough chocolate for three adult to survive for 2 weeks.
