Numbers…

We arrived at 8.00 am this morning, with a light breeze blowing in our nose of course thankfully a good push from the engine. In the last 3 weeks we used more fuel than in 4 months in the sea of Cortez. Well, we would still be in Puerto de Vallarta if we didn’t indulge the modern mechanic, such is life. We decided to head for the comfort of the marina, as we don’t expect one until, actually we can’t tell you because we don’t know, could be a year or more. As Costa Rica is priced out of our budget, Ecuador doesn’t have one where we are going, and the island of the South Pacific nonexistent.

As, we are just on the border with Guatemala, things get a little more serious. In fact an hour after our arrival officers of the navy came on-board, they extremely professional polite and thorough as usual. Our regular paperwork was transmitted by the marina to the port Captain now we can relax and start working on Letitgo. Do I hear the washing machine, you bet!

For the number crushers, you will find below the recap of our trip so far. Fairly impressive 2000 miles from The Northern point we traveled in Mexico (Puerto Refugio Isla Angel de la guardia) to today. This represents 43% more than Vancouver to San Diego to put it in perspective. As for now we will let you enjoy this beautiful spread sheet if you like numbers… a bit dry nonetheless!
