Last Day in Mazatlan

Our minutes are numbered in the beautiful city, but after checking the weather and preparing for a late afternoon departure, we couldn’t resist one last excursion to the market. Our stash of passage sweets was replenished, we got our blessing from the priest at the same time, how convenient is the 21st century church.

We saw some rare sites today, a bus load of sisters eating ice-cream and three sailfish fresh from Sunday fishing. Truly we love this city, sorry to part, but may be one day we’ll be back. The wind is good for the next few days and we are leaving for La Cruz over the next two days.
