Hookah without any hesitation…

Why? well let me explain…

It all started that way :  I was innocently starting the BBQ, when the magnificent Stainless extension (18 by 10 inches) that our friends Gwen and Russ kindly offered us, slipped off my hands and gently glide into the water! Sorry Russ, I know it was your joy and pride…

Once it was going down slowly I could clearly see it and I made a mental note of its exact location. Unfortunately we were on high tide with a 20ft depth, so I had to wait for the next low one which showed at around 5ft for the next day. Fair enough, a good night sleep upon enjoying live music/firework and the usual aspect of a day of celebration. I was ready and eager to get that very practical piece back on board.

The water is quite clean for a marina, and we can easily see the bottom of it, alas a first visual inspection revealed that the plate was not so noticeable anymore. Of course at that point a film of mud had already settled on it. The boat hook easily reached the bottom, but with no luck and after 30 minutes of effort and determination, we couldn’t even locate this rather large piece of metal. Only one option left! And, reluctantly I put my wet suit on and went for a dip, *B* with his eagle eyes was on the look out, but even with all the help we got, I came out of the water empty handed…

At that point we were all pretty disappointed and frustrated… Hookah is starting to make more sense to you? Evidently it is not the smoking one!

This incident simply made us realized that to retrieve anything (ex: the line wrapped around the prop some months ago) or clean from under our boat is a lot more difficult than we expected.

Decision made : Please John, here is our order one of the R360XL – Can you ship it now?
