That day we didn’t want to be on the water…

These days are rare and far in between, but yesterday was not the day we would have chosen to be anchored around here.

During our daily walk, the winds were clocking at 35 knots and we could clearly see the white caps even with a limited fetch. As we say this made for a good cleaning of our brain, nothing like some good fresh air! Three small boats have been anchored forever just on the lee shore of those rocks, and we couldn’t help thinking -”The ground tackles better hold well…”

So what to do? Not much really, may be worry that our own boat is safe, hope that the Genoa will not unfurl and shredd into pieces, just like the one we saw in one of the marina here. So we went home and baked, cuddled in front of the fireplace, read some blogs and looked at the weather in México…. Trying to keep it all real!
